This Little Light of Mine

Strength, safety and individuality.

These are the words that come to mind when I look back at the lighthouses we visited on Prince Edward Island.

Over the past few years, our family has gone through a spiritual and emotional growth spurt. Through a series of events outside our control, we found ourselves making the very difficult decision to leave our home state in search of freedom and safety.

Learning how to let our light shine hasn’t always been easy. It has always involved some level of risk.

Risk of being outcast. Risk of being physically, emotionally or financially hurt. Risk of losing everything close to us.

At our breaking point, so much of the fear we used to feel miraculously left us and courage took its place.

Today, we are walking in God’s strength and we hope to encourage YOU to take one small, intentional step right now to let YOUR light shine?
