What Is Sports Hernia?
Sports hernia is when the muscles in the groin area tear. This type of hernia generally occurs in people who play sports such as, ice hockey, soccer, or tennis. This is due to intense twisting movements and sudden change in directions. A sports hernia can also occur due to overuse of the groin muscles, causing stress on the inguinal wall.
